It is a free intensive face-to-face meeting lasting three days that will be replicated inCusco, Pucallpa and Arequipa,aimed at all people self-identified as women, who come from or reside for more than three years in one of the three locations.
Thisdocumentary meetingIt will consist of theoretical training activities, technical training, consultancies by DOCUPERU, spaces for reflection-action among women, conversations with specialists on gender and the conditions of inequality in the Peruvian film industry, discussion spaces around gender open to the public of mixed genre, as well as free screenings open to the public, of local documentaries and made by women.

Realizador Audiovisual, Diseñador Sonoro y Docente universitario. Director del largometraje BRUMA ganador del Estímulo de Producción Documental del Ministerio de Cultura del Perú (2018), y del IDFA Bertha Fund Classic Selection, de Holanda. Premio a Mejor Documental en el Festival Pecheurs du Monde 2022 (Francia). Documental en Competencia en el Festival Biarritz de America Latina (2022), DOCSMX 2021 y DOCSJalisco 2021.
What is Backpack XX+?
Master en Arte por la Universidad de las Artes de Kyoto, Japón. Después de completar sus estudios, regresó a Perú donde se unió a una asociación civil sin fines de lucro, dedicada a la producción y enseñanza profesional de películas documentales de carácter comunitario y participativo, llamada DOCUPERU. En 2019 fue galardonada con el Premio Nacional para Desarrollo de Largometrajes Documentales con el proyecto Una mujer llamada Cristina.

Productor y documentalista con formación en Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Perú y España. Productor de Kinra, largometraje ganador del Festival de Cine de Mar del Plata 2023 y del largometraje Nanito. Director de El TikTok de Ale, obra ganadora del Concurso Nacional de Cortometrajes de Perú 2020. Director del documental Mercado. Fundador de Yapa Films e integrante de DOCUPERU. Máster en cine documental por la ESCAC y máster en propiedad intelectual e industrial por la UNIR.
What is Backpack XX+?
Cineasta y documentalista experimental. Su trabajo cruza el cine independiente, la pedagogía, la gestión cultural y los procesos colaborativos en Perú, Francia y Latinoamérica. En 2024 creó Estudios de la Memoria, serie de cortos experimentales sobre archivo, memoria y resistencia, cuyo primer filme Contra la Dictadura se proyectó en Figura Retórica (RD) y Lima Docs (Perú). Es cofundadora de Llamas en Llamas, colectivo con sede en París dedicado a la difusión del cine peruano y latinoamericano, docente en la PUCP y miembro de DOCUPERU.
