Founder and Director of DOCUPERU.
Audiovisual Producer, Sound Designer and university professor. Director of the feature film BRUMA, winner of the Documentary Production Incentive from the Ministry of Culture of Peru (2018) and the IDFA Bertha Fund Classic Selection, Netherlands. Award for Best Documentary at the Pecheurs du Monde Festival 2022 (France). Documentary in Competition at the Biarritz Festival of Latin America (2022), DOCSMX 2021 and DOCSJalisco 2021. Director of the web series, Nuez de Madre de Dios. Winner of several national and international awards: Cusco Web Fest 2022 (Peru) and FINNOF 2023 (Argentina). Winner, together with Jimena Mora, of the 2022-2023 Artistic Residency at the Fukuoka Asian Art Museum (FAAM), Japan. Her short films Verde que te quiero Verde (2023), filmed and presented in Japan and Rojo Crisol (2022), produced by the United States Embassy in Peru, and Oshoyu Monogatari (2025) recently produced in Japan, have been co-directed and co-written with Jimena Mora.
He has designed sound for more than 40 theater, fiction, and documentary projects. He is the founder/director of DOCUPERU, an organization that produces communication products and processes for over 20 years, in Peru, Latin America, and elsewhere. He is currently developing several film projects: La Tribu del Sol (fiction/in development), co-directed with Jimena Mora, winner of the 2024 Development Award from the Peruvian Ministry of Culture; Perros con Walkie Talkies (animated and live-action family series, in development); and Una Laura, Un Pedro y un José (documentary in development).
